Make the spice paste by combining all the ingredients in a food processor.
Heat the oil in a large pan and add the onions and green chilli and cook until onions are soft. Add carrots, chilli powder, coriander, turmeric and salt to taste. Add the potatoes. Cover and cook 10 minutes on low.
Add the cauliflower, green beans and spice paste and mix well. Cover and cook another 15 minutes. Stir in the coconut milk and serve hot.
