Prawns and pineapple are a great combination, fresh, zesty and tropical! You don't have to use the bouquet garni but it adds a nice fragrance.


Serves: 4 

  • 100g king prawns
  • 1 bouquet garni (parsley, bay leaf and thyme, tied in a bundle)
  • 1 pineapple, cut into chunks (or use tinned pineapple pieces)

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

  1. Boil a saucepan of water and add the prawns and bouquet garni. Simmer 5 minutes until the prawns are pink but don't overcook. Drain and cool.
  2. Peel the prawns. Thread onto toothpicks with the pineapple. Serve with spicy cocktail sauce.
