Easy Parmesan Cheese Biscuits

    Super simple cheese biscuits that take about ten minutes to make. You don't need to add any salt to this recipe, the Parmesan is salty enough.

    Serves: 6 

    • 150g butter, softened
    • 1 cup plain flour
    • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
    • 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Grease a baking tray.
    2. In a bowl, mix the butter, flour and cheese until a rough dough is formed. On a floured surface knead the dough until smooth, about 5 minutes. Roll out the dough to 1cm thick and cut out the biscuits with a round cutter.
    3. Place biscuits on the baking tray and lightly brush with egg yolk. Bake 20 minutes.
