Lime Slushie

This slushie recipe happened by accident when I wondered what it would be like if I replaced lemon juice with lime juice. The results is perfect!

Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 100ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 120ml simple syrup
- 50ml rum
- 1 cup ice
- Simple Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup boiling water

- Make the simple syrup: combine the sugar and boiling water and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool then use as needed. Store in the fridge.
- Place lime juice, 120ml simple syrup, rum and ice in a blender and blend until the ice is smooth.
