    This bar biscuit recipe is so simple to make it's great for starting kids out in the kitchen. Coconut and macadamia have Smarties added for colour and a chocolate treat.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 2 cups digestive biscuit crumbs
    • 85g melted margarine
    • 400ml sweetened condensed milk
    • 2 cups Smarties(TM)
    • 1 cup desiccated coconut
    • 1 cup macadamia nuts, diced

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a 23x33cm cake tin.
    2. In a small bowl, combine the biscuit crumbs and butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared cake tin. Pour the condensed milk over the crumbs as evenly as possible. Sprinkle the Smarties, coconut and nuts over the milk, press in lightly.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool before cutting into bars.
