White Chocolate Chunk Cookies

    Chocolate chip cookies are great but sometimes you can get bored of the uniform size of chocolate chips. This recipe uses a chopped chocolate bar instead.

    Makes: 36 cookies

    • 310g butter, softened
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 2 1/2 cups plain flour
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
    • 120g white chocolate, chopped
    • 3/4 cup pecans, diced

    1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C.
    2. Cream the butter with the sugar and the honey. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour, salt and bicarb soda. Stir in the chopped chocolate and pecans.
    3. Place teaspoon sized amounts about 5cm apart on an ungreased baking tray. Bake at 190 degrees C for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
