Grill Press Burger with Cheese

    Who said you can't make a good burger in the house! This is a recipe I like to make on my grill press, it is as good as any outdoor BBQ.

    Serves: 6 

    • 500g beef mince
    • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1 onion, finely diced
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon Italian herb mix
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 4 slices cheese

    1. In a large mixing bowl add the mince, garlic, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, salt and pepper. Using your hands mix really well together.
    2. Make into burger patties then put into the grill press and cook for 6 minutes closed. Open the grill press and add the cheese, cook for an additional 2 minutes open. Add to a burger roll with your favourite burger toppings.
