    Green bean casserole is a dish traditionally made in Southern America at Thanksgiving, but as no one here has heard of it, I serve it all year around.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 1 packet (250g) frozen green beans
    • 1 tin (400g) mushroom soup
    • 1 cup (250ml) milk
    • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Bring a saucepan of water to the boil then add the green beans and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and add to a casserole dish.
    2. Add to the casserole dish the mushroom soup, milk and fresh mushrooms. Stir to combine well.
    3. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes until heated throughout.
