BBQ Beef Rissoles

    Rissoles are a great BBQ choice, these beef rissoles are a regular and very popular with the kids when we are looking for a change from sausages.

    Serves: 6 

    • 500g beef mince
    • 1 clove garlic, crushed
    • 1 onion, finely diced
    • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
    • dash Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 egg lightly whisked
    • oil, as required

    1. In a large mixing bowl add the mince, garlic, onion, breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, seasoning and egg. Using your hands mix really well together.
    2. Divide up the mixture into equal portions and shape into a round ball then flatten out. Put on a plate, cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.
    3. Heat the BBQ to a medium heat then cook the rissoles until cooked throughout.
