This is one of the first recipes I made after leaving home. It is so easy! Probably where the name came from as it is almost impossible to stuff up.

1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup self raising flour
1 medium onion, diced
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar
6 rashers bacon, diced
60g butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Lightly whisk together the eggs and milk. Add the flour, onion, cheddar, bacon and butter then combine well.
Pour the mixture into a quiche dish and bake for 25 minutes or until set. Serve hot. See it on my blog

My mid-week no plan recipe. No idea why, but I always serve with a tin of baked beans.

Is very easy but very ordinary tasting. I'd probably plump for something a little more complicated and tastier next time.

I make this on a day off and serve it hot or cold on a night when kids have sport or I work late. Whole family like it. Change butter for coconut oil and add a bit of pepper. If I have time I sauté the onion and bacon. Thanks for sharing.
