Easy Kid's Pizza Dough

    1 hour 5 minutes

This is my quick version of pizza dough I make with my kids. They like mixing the dough and picking out the toppings. It's very quick and easy.

    Makes: 1 pizza

    • 2 cups flour (more may be needed)
    • 1 teaspoon dried yeast
    • 1 cup water

    1. Combine flour, yeast and salt. Add water and olive oil and mix well. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour until it is manageable. Roll into a ball and let sit for 1/2 hour.
    2. Roll out the dough on a flour covered work surface and add toppings as desired. Bake at 200 degrees C for 10-15 minutes.

This recipe, if followed correctly, produces one large bowl of floury slop. Either the water or the flour quantities listed here are completely wrong. Try any other pizza base recipe out there before this one.  -  24 Oct 2015  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)

Ingredients totally wrong leaves a bowl full of slop. The instructions put the dough onto a generously floured baking tray, probably needs something before - like roll out the dough?  -  26 Oct 2017  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)

Made this was nice and simple kids both helped make it. Need to keep adding flour dough can get bit sticky.  -  16 Apr 2016  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
