Simple Eggplant Prep.

    Do you love eggplant but find it messy to cook? Try using a sandwich press.

    Serves: 1 

    • 1 eggplant
    • 1 tablespoon salt
    • olive oil spray

    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Cut eggplant into equal slices (1/2 to 1 cm).
    2. Salt and bleed the eggplant slices until moisture drops appear (20 mins).
    3. Rinse the salt off and towel dry.
    4. Spray lightly both plates of the sandwich press with olive oil spray.
    5. Turn power on and wait for heat. Place eggplant so the plate is covered and then close. Keep checking until desired cooking is complete. Both sides will be cooked at once and no splatter of oil.


    Sprinkle cumin powder for a great taste.
