    • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, freshly chopped

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:35min

    1. Wash the poha nicely and ensure that there is no dust particles left. Poha should be moist and not smashed.
    2. Add a pinch of salt and some sugar in the poha and mix it well but lightly.
    3. Take a pan and heat some oil in it.
    4. Add some mustard seed in the oil and when they start to splutter add the asafetida and the curry leaves.
    5. Saute for half a minute and then add the onions and continue to sauté.
    6. Add green chili and turmeric powder and mix it for some time.
    7. Saute the ingredients in the pan for 2 minutes and then add the potato and the poha.
    8. Mix and cook the poha well.
    9. Add some lemon juice in it and again mix it well.
    10. Garnish the poha with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Onion poha tastes awesome! I have tried it at home and the taste is very different from the ones that I cook on a daily basis.
