    This delicious and healthy recipe is low in salt AND in calories!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
    • 1 red onion, sliced
    • 1 tablespoon ginger root, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
    • 1 cup diced tofu
    • 1 tablespoon Low Sodium soy sauce
    • 1/2 cup sliced asparagus
    • 1/4 cup red capsicum, julienned
    • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
    • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
    • 1 cup snow peas, sliced
    • 3 tablespoons scallions, snipped
    • 1/2 teaspoon basil

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Saute garlic, onion and ginger root in sesame oil for 1 minute.
    2. Marinate tofu in soy sauce.
    3. Add asparagus, red capsicum, onion and shiitake mushrooms to sauté and cook for 2 minutes.
    4. Finish off with bean sprouts, snow peas, scallions and basil.
