This is one my favorite recipes that my Mum used to makes all the time. Sausages and lots of veg with a beautiful broth done in the slow cooker. Yummy!
Chop sausages into pieces (It is best done when frozen), as well as carrot, broccoli, potatoes and cabbage and put into slow cooker.
In a jug put garlic, French onion soup mix, gravy powder, beef stock powder, a splash of soy sauce and Worcestershire to taste, with sufficient water to mix it to a smooth paste.
Add paste to 1 litre of boiling water, stir and add to slow cooker. If needed add enough water to cover vegies and sausages.
Cook on high for 5 hours or 11 hours on low. Serve with crusty bread.
