A deeply rich chocolate cake for the adults! You can use other liqueurs too, Amaretto and Grand Marnier work well too.
So rich and moist! It was such a hit. A wonderful cake and so easy to make. I added my own touch by spreading a layer of choc hazelnut spread on the completely cooled cake and sprinkled over that a handful of slightly crushed roasted hazelnuts on top. I served it with 600ml of cream which I whipped til stiff and to which I had added a dessert spoon of caster sugar and a tablespoon of Frangelico.
