Chocolate Orange Mousse

Orange zest adds a delicious flavour to this classic dark chocolate mousse that's also flavoured with coffee.

I followed the recipe and even watched the video to make sure I did it properly. I only put two tbsp of coffee into my mousse and it was very strong, next time I will only put one. Can't taste the orange but it's properly coz the coffee is so over powering. Will definitely make again.

My usual mousse recipe is far nicer mouth feel than this one. That said, my 10 year old LOVES this and because of the number of eggs in it, i'm all for that!

Hi There, this has not worked for me so I have a couple of questions. I tasted some of this mouse from the bowl and it tasted quite bitter! in fact I had a coffee granule (undissolved) in the mixture. So -a) granules or powder. b) Do you mix the coffee with water and take two/three table spoons of liquid coffee? I only had coffee granules and these did not dissolve into the melted chocolate so I am guessing that it is coffee (made with water) and then two/three tablespoons of the "made" coffee into the melting chocolate, my mixture was quite grainy. I feel that I have just wasted some good ingredients! Sorry, I cannot rate this at the moment, can only give one star as it will not let me post without a star rating! Hi There, just spotted the video - dohhh. I should have used "made" coffee. Will score once I have re - made this mouse. Merry Christmas

Loved this recipe, which was simply a classic mousse with a lovely orange flavour that wasn't too overpowering, nor artificial in any way. Guests loved it! I served in small glasses with some candied orange peel on top. Divine!
