Chop up your strawberry liquorice into bite size pieces.
Mix everything except the chocolate in a large bowl.
Break up your chocolate into little pieces.
Melt half your chocolate in the microwave.
Mix the unmelted chocolate in with the melted chocolate to get it to melt. Heat again in the microwave if neccessary.
Pour the melted chocolate over the candy mixture and pour immediately into the brownie pan. Smooth out a little.
Refrigerate until set.
I find I get a better result if I don't melt all the chocolate at once. It gives a more stable chocolate result at the end. You can use any chocolate you like but I find Old Gold gives the best result.
