BEST COOKIES EVER I AM SOO IN LOVE!! EASY AS 123 AND LITTLE WASHING UP...AWESOME - 28 Mar 2013

I was looking for a recipe that would provide something similar to the M&M cookies that Woolworths sell only without all the additives and smaller in size, suitable for a toddler. I followed the recipe (which I don't usually do!) except I didn't add as much butter (I didn't have enough on hand so I only put in about 120 gm butter) and I added in some vanilla extract (love vanilla)...and the cookies turned out beautifully. I didn't bother mixing it by hand - just threw it all in the mixer and let the mixer do all the work. dough came together beautifully. cookies turned out crunchy and a tiny bit chewy. I would leave little bit more room between them as they expanded during the cooking process and ended up not perfectly round...but the toddler and dad didn't mind at all and they taste great :-) Next time, I might try reducing the amount of sugar. My 2 1/2 yr old and her dad loved them. I made smaller ones and pressed in three M&Ms into each small cookie. Made about 24 smaller cookies and then I had enough mixture left over and I made logs wrapped in glad-wrap with the remaining dough and refrigerated so when I want to make another batch, I can just cut rounds off the little logs and pop them on a tray and push in the M&Ms. (I work full time so any time I can save is a bonus). - 17 Jan 2015

What a great cookie recipe!! The mix made 4 dozen cookies so I'll have happy teenagers and a hubby next week, when they open their lunchboxes for morning tea. - 10 Sep 2016
