DIY Microwave Popcorn

DIY Microwave Popcorn

2 people made this

Make a bowl of freshly popped corn, in the microwave, without all of the additives in a pre-packaged pack.

Serves: 2

  • 3 tablespoons of popping corn kernels
  • 1 brown paper bag
  • spray oil or salt to taste

Preparation:2min  ›  Cook:2min  ›  Ready in:4min

  1. Place the popping corn kernels into the brown paper bag. Spray with some oil (optional).
  2. Fold the top of the bag over around 1cm and press the crease down firmly with your fingernail. Fold the bag over another 1 cm and press the crease firmly again.
  3. Place the bag in the microwave for 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
  4. Enjoy with a sprinkle of chicken salt.

Popcorn is a perfect lunch box snack and can be stored in a ziplock bag after it's cooled.
