Mash 5 of the avocados into a bowl. Cut the remaining 3 avocados in half and (while in skin) into approx. 1 cm squares. Scoop out with a spoon. Stir through the mashed avocado.
Squeeze juice of one lime and mix through avocado mixture.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
If you like a creamier taste add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise.
Tip
Serve as a dip with plain corn chips or serve with nachos.
