One Bowl Banana Cake
There's probably no easier cake to make then a banana cake where you just throw everything together. Add walnuts or choc chips if you like.
9 people made this
1 cup (250ml) vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups (300g) caster sugar
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons (400g) self raising flour
1 teaspoon bicarb soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
5 medium bananas, peeled and mashed
- Preheat oven to 170 degrees C. Grease and line a cake tin. Sift the flour together with the bicarb soda.
- Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat well together. Pour into the cake tin.
- Bake 1 1/4 hours or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.

So moist and delicious! Added both walnuts and chocolate chips, just because we had them.
