Combine the apple pieces, 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl until the apple is well coated. Place into a large baking dish (grease dish with butter beforehand), ensure that the bottom of the dish isn't visible and is completely covered by the apple.
Add the remaining ingrediants together in a bowl, cream the dry ingrediants with the butter with your fingers until it has a sand like texture.
Place the crumble topping over the apples and spread until completly covers the apple (if you don't have enough, repeat step 4 until apples are covered).
Bake for 25 minutes in your pre-heated oven or until the top is dry.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or custard and dig in =)
It is best to use fresh apples, but canned will work just fine.
