Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees C and line baking tray with paper.
Combine flour, lemonade and cream together in a large bowl and mix well. *This is where you add ingredients to make savoury or sweet scones*
Knead together until a soft dough and turn onto a floured board.
Roll dough out to about 3 cm thick and cut scones with a scone cutter.
Place on tray and brush with egg wash mixture.
Cook in oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
Variations; Pumpkin scones - add 1-2 cups of mashed pumpkin to the mix and sprinkle tops of scones with a dash of paprika. Cheese Spice - add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and sprinkle tops of scones with grated cheddar. Blueberry - add in a cup of blueberries and a teaspoon of vanilla essence.
