Cheese and Tuna on Toast

The classic easy lunch, cheese on toast, just got better! This recipe adds tuna for sometime a little more substantial and Worcestershire sauce for a kick.

Serves: 2 

  • 50g tasty cheese
  • 4 thick slices of white bread
  • 1 tin tuna
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

  1. Pre heat the griller to medium heat.
  2. Toast one side of each of the 4 slices of bread. When golden brown, remove from the grill and spread the tuna on the uncooked side, as close to the edge as possible.
  3. Slice the cheese and place on top of the tuna covering it completely. Sprinkle Worcestershire Sauce over the top of the 4 slices and then place under the grill.
  4. Cook until golden brown and bubbling.
