Apricot and Honey Tart

    When I was little we used to use the leftover pastry from making pies to make little fruit tarts for dessert, this apricot and honey recipes is one of the many combinations we discovered.

    Serves: 10 

    • pre-made tart shells (or make your own)
    • 1/2 cup apricot jam
    • 1/4 cup honey

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:12min  ›  Ready in:27min 

    1. In a bowl combine the apricot jam and honey and mix well. Lay out the tart shells and fill so when heated it will settle but not overflow.
    2. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 12 minutes or until the jam is melted and tart is brown. Remove and cool.
    3. Eat as is or you can decorate as per the picture with dark chocolate, white chocolate and almonds to look like bees.
