A yummy twist from apple pie, and their cookie size make them great to serve when people are over.

Makes: 12 triangles

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 200g butter, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons plain yoghurt
  • 4 apples
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sultanas
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees C.
  2. To make the dough, put the flour, butter, icing sugar and yoghurt in a bowl and combine. Leave in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. To make the filling: Peel then dice the apples, melt butter in saucepan, add the rest of the ingredients. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough out and cut into 12 triangles. Put a tablespoon of apple on the edge and roll up.
  5. Place on a non stick baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool then sprinkle with icing sugar.
