Swirly School Sandwich

    To liven up the kids lunch box, SWIRLSSSSS. This is such a simple thing and you can use Nutella, Vegemite, peanut butter or whatever your imagination comes up with.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 loaf chia seed bread, unsliced (you can use any bread. But, we prefer Low GI breads)
    • 60g softened butter (Again, use what you normally do. We stay away from margarine in our home)
    • Nutella (you can use vegemite, peanut butter, cream cheese or any spreadable filling)

    1. Slice the crusts off the bread and cut the loaf lengthways into four equal slices.
    2. Flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
    3. Spread with butter and then the spread of your choice.
    4. Roll up the bread lengthways.
    5. Slice each roll into five shells.


    I also make one for my non-picky eater by mixing canned salmon with cream cheese, Mix it very well and spread it out. :)
