As part of my New Years Resolution to be more creative and use less packaged items in my childrens lunch boxes for school I remembered my fav, Bliss Balls. But, well, bliss balls aren't particulary appealing for children. So, here is my take on something more enjoyable for children. P.S. The best part is that they can help you make them :)
Now, I am aware that a lot of schools do not allow peanut butter. My children go to a very small school with no allergies so luck out. For those that can't can try tahini, sunflower seed butter, or simply use just nutella. If you only use nutella, you may need to adjust the honey as it gets fairly gooey. We use chia seed in everything practically. Great source of omega oils and adds some texture.
