Sunflower and Sesame Patties

    These are a little bit like tabouleh made into a veggie burger! I use whatever fresh herbs I have in the garden.

    Serves: 4 

    • 100g sunflower seeds, crushed
    • 80g sesame seeds, crushed
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
    • 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
    • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs
    • 1 egg
    • tomato juice, as needed

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Combine the seeds and vegetables, add the herbs to your taste, then bind with the egg and as much tomato juice as needed.
    2. Form into small patties and place on an oven tray. Bake at 180 degrees C for about 25 minutes.
