    A quick and easy mint sauce recipe that goes amazing with lamb. Just like your mum used to make. Simple to make and uses only sugar, vinegar and mint.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 600 ml

    • 450g brown sugar
    • 2 cups (500ml) vinegar
    • 1 cup mint leaves, chopped

    Directions
    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Combine sugar and vinegar in a saucepan then bring to a boil. Stir in the mint then bottle according to your usual method.

    This is the recipe I was looking for. Used Apple Cider Vinegar to make it gluten free. Sweeter than I like, I would use less sugar next time, maybe 1 cup sugar to 3 cups vinegar.  -  22 May 2015
