Pineapple and Ham Cheese Ball

    A delicious dip of cream cheese combined with sour cream and sherry then loaded with pineapple, tasty cheese and a bit of diced ham. Great spread over crackers.

    Serves: 12 

    • 250g cream cheese, room temp
    • 1/4 cup sour cream
    • 1/4 cup sherry
    • 5 cups tasty cheese, grated
    • 1/2 (440g) tin crushed pineapple, well drained
    • 1/2 cup finely diced ham
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 cup slivered almonds

    1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until softened. Beat in sour cream and sherry.
    2. Stir in the cheese, pineapple and ham. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Chill for 1 hour.
    3. Roll into a ball then roll in the almonds until well covered. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving with crackers.
