Tasty Vienna cream icing for cakes that can be made plain or as chocolate. Add food colouring as needed for any colour you want... great to make for sporting events and birthday parties.
130g butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
2 tablespoons milk, room temperature
- Beat butter until as white as possible. Gradually add about 1/2 the sifted sugar, beating continually. Add milk gradually, then gradually beat in the remaining icing sugar.
For Chocolate Vienna Cream
Add 2 tablespoons of sifted cocoa to the icing sugar.
