    Bran flakes soaked overnight in milk with mixed fruit and sugar. After soaking, just add salt and flour then bake. Makes a tasty breakfast with a dob of butter.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 1 loaf

    • 1 cup bran flakes
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 cup mixed fruit
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 cup self raising flour
    • 1 inch salt, to taste

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:1hour 

    1. In a bowl or Tupperware, combine bran, sugar, mixed fruit and milk. Cover then set in the fridge overnight.
    2. Remove from fridge and mix in flour and salt. Pour into a loaf tin and bake at 180 degrees C for 45 minutes.
