Chocolate Drops

    Tasty little chocolate biscuits with a hint of coffee that are topped with an almond then baked until just right. Great with a cuppa! Enjoy.

    Makes: 15 biscuits

    • 130g butter
    • 130g light brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons milk
    • 2 teaspoons coffee essence
    • 190g self raising flour
    • 2 teaspoons cocoa
    • 15 blanched almonds

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Melt butter then combine with sugar and beat well. Add milk and essence. Fold in flour and cocoa.
    3. Roll into small balls then place an almond onto each. Place on greased baking tray then bake for 12-15 minutes.
