Rich and tasty rolled oat biscuits stuffed with chunks of salted peanuts. These tasty bickies are a real treat in your kids or spouse's lunch box. Yummy.
Makes: 40 biscuits
3/4 cup (90g) self raising flour
2 cups (180g) rolled oats
1 cup (160g) brown sugar
130g salted peanuts, roughly chopped
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 egg, beaten
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
- Sift flour, add oats, brown sugar and roughly chopped peanuts. Mix well.
- Melt butter, add golden syrup and beaten egg. Add to dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Drop in teaspoonfuls on lightly greased baking tray. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
