Really nice scone recipe. They turned out delicious and the whole batch got eaten within the first 10 mins (family of five!). The mixture was very very wet and I could not kneed it so I just spooned it onto the baking paper lined tray- worked out fine! Did anyone else have this problem?

Date scones are always my fave. This is a great mix although I had to add a bit more flour.

Mmmm, these were great! Made about 8 half-fist sized balls, and were simple yet melt-in-your-mouth good.

Made this and produced light fluffy scones for the first time in my life. Usually my scones can be used for batting practise. Absolutely fabulous!!!
