Tasty chocolate biscuits with cornflakes and sultans, that are rolled in cornflakes for a crispy outside. These are a classic and I hope you enjoy my recipe.
Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in one egg at a time. Blend in vanilla. Fold in sifted flour, chocolate bits, sultanas and 2 cups of cornflakes.
Roll spoonfuls of the mixture in the remaining cornflakes then place on a greased baking tray. Bake in preheated oven for 10-20 minutes until golden on the underside. Allow to cool.
This recipe was released on the back of the Kelloggs Cornflake box about 40 years ago, I started making them for my kids when they were little & now make them with my Grandkids. The big kids still love them too
