Only three ingredients highlight how simple Chinese cooking can be and still taste fantastic. A lovely quick appetiser soup.


Serves: 8 

  • 4 slices fresh ginger
  • 1 Chinese cabbage
  • 3 litres chicken stock, good quality

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Wash the cabbage and chop into small pieces. Bring the stock to a boil. Add the cabbage and ginger and bring to a boil again over high heat. Turn to low heat, simmer for 20 minutes and serve.
