    Phineas and Ferb Sandwich

    Phineas and Ferb Sandwich

    1 person made this

Yep, that's what I said, a sammy shaped like your wee one's favourite cartoon character. Imagine their little face when they open their lunch box to this!

    Makes: 1 sandwich

    • 2 slices bread
    • 1 teaspoon butter or mayonnaise
    • 3 slices tasty cheese
    • 2 slices shaved ham or luncheon
    • 1 black olive, cut in half
    • 1 toothpick, to hold it together
    • grated carrot, for the hair

    Preparation:10min  ›  Ready in:10min

    1. Cut the crusts off the bread then cut both pieces of bread into the same shape as Phineas's head. In the top slice cut in his mouth. Flip the bread open and butter the inside.
    2. On the bottom slice of bread, layer the meat and two slices of cheese, to look like his teeth (see the photo). Then cut the last slice into two round circles, butter the back of the olive halves then stick them to the cheese circles to make his eyes. Pin these in place with a toothpick then set on his carrot hair.
    3. Tada! You are now official the coolest mum ever.

This would look cool on top of a lettuce leaf. You could also use orange cheese for his hair if you have some. Get creative.

I got this idea from my cool mum friend Jen.
