Perfect party finger food, ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce are wrapped up in a tortilla then sealed with cream cheese. Delicious little goodies for any get together.

Cattleya Canterbury, New Zealand

Serves: 20

  • 10 tortillas
  • 150g spreadable cream cheese
  • 400g shaved ham
  • 250g cheese slices
  • 2 tomatoes, very thinly sliced
  • 1 head frilly lettuce

Preparation:25min  ›  Ready in:25min

  1. Lay out the tortillas and spread on the cream cheese down one full edge (this will help seal it when you wrap it).
  2. On the other edge and the centre add ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce.
  3. Starting on the edge with the fillings, roll up tightly like a Swiss roll, into a very tight wrap, using the cream cheese to seal the edge well. With a sharp knife, slice into 3cm pinwheels.

If your pinwheel wraps do not stay closed, you can pin them with toothpicks.

If your tortillas tear, place them in the microwave, covered by a damp paper towel for 15 seconds then wrap while still warm and pliable.
