Mummy Sausage Rolls

    Looking for some spooky Halloween themed entrees? These easy peasy mummy sausage rolls are wrapped up in slices of puff pastry to make them look like mummies.

    Makes: 10 sausages

    • 1 sheet puff pastry
    • 10 precooked sausages
    • relish or mustard, for eyes

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Roll the pastry out on a lightly floured bench, then using a pasty cutter or pizza cutter, slice into 1cm strips. Wrap the pastry strips around the sausages, like you would a mummy, then place on a baking tray.
    3. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Dot on mustard or relish for the eyes then serve with tomato sauce for dipping.

    Cook's Note

    You can also put an ice block stick into the sausage first, to make them easy to hold for kids.
