Grilled Skirt Steak

    This easy skirt steak is cooked quickly under your ovens griller. It's cut against the grain of the meat so that it's tender. Serve smothered in brown gravy.

    Serves: 2 

    • 500g skirt steak
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon of your favourite rub
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    1. Preheat your ovens griller.
    2. Place your skirt steak into a baking dish and dash on the Worcestershire sauce on both sides. Drizzle on the olive oil then sprinkle on garlic power, your favourite rub, salt and pepper on both sides.
    3. Place in the preheated oven and grill for 7 minutes per side. Remove from oven and allow to sit for about 5 minutes before slicing. Slice very thinly against the grain and serve with gravy.
