Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a loaf tin or baking dish.
Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, bicarb, sugar, apricots and walnuts. In a separate bowl combine the mashed banana, milk, egg and butter. Mix well then stir into the dry mixture. Stir well to combine.
Pour into a loaf tin or baking dish and bake in preheated oven until a knife inserted into the centre comes out clean, about 1 hour.
