With tog season 'round the corner, I am trying to watch my weight. This tuna with gherkin, tomato and onion is seasoned with chilli powder and cayenne pepper to make a healthy lunch.

Serves: 1 

  • 95g tinned tuna fish
  • 1/4 small gherkin, diced
  • 1 cherry tomato, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion, finely diced
  • chilli powder, to taste
  • cayenne pepper, to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon light mayonnaise

Preparation:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

  1. Combine tuna, gherkin, tomato, onion, chilli powder, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and mayonnaise.
  2. Eat plain or on top of a bed of rocket for a low fat, gluten free, low carb lunch. If your not watching your gluten or your weight, add it to a sandwich.
