Parmesan Meatloaf

Parmesan Meatloaf

Be the first to make this!

This meatloaf has onion, garlic and Parmesan cheese. It seems like a long list of ingredients, but its really just a dash of this and a dab of that, so just use what you have.

Serves: 3

  • 500g beef mince
  • 1/4 small onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce

Preparation:15min  ›  Ready in:15min

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.
  2. In a large bowl combine mince, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and celery salt. Using your hands, make sure it's well mixed. Beat egg and milk in a small bowl then stir into meat. Add in breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Gently mix in half of the tomato sauce.
  3. Shape into a loaf then place in a greased baking dish. Using a spatula, spread the remaining tomato sauce over the loaf then bake in the preheated oven until cooked though, about 35-40 minutes. Slice to serve.
