A tasty tea loaf that combines walnuts, raisins, sugar and golden syrup. Goes great with tea any time of day. Enjoy with a dob of butter or dip it in your tea.
Add flour to a bowl. Rub in butter. Add walnuts and raisins. Stir in sugar and golden syrup. Mix in beaten egg and enough milk to make into a batter. Pour into two greased tins then bake in preheated oven until a knife inserted into the centre comes out clean.
