    Fresh vanilla ice cream without all the hastle of an ice cream maker. Just mix milk, sugar, gelatine and vanilla then freeze. Remove once and beat then freeze again.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 tablespoons powdered milk
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cup cold water
    • 1/2 teaspoon gelatine, dissolved in
    • 1/2 cup hot water
    • 2 cups milk
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence

    1. Dissolve powdered milk with sugar in 1/4 cup of water. Add gelatine and milk gradually.
    2. In a covered container, freeze until nearly set then put in a basin and whip. Return to the freezer for further freezing.
