Tasty rolled oat biscuits with sugar, flour, desiccated coconut and golden syrup. Enjoy these tempting bikkies on ANZAC day or just eat them year round.

The Walters

Makes: 18 biscuits

  • 1 cup (220g) sugar
  • 1 cup (130g) flour
  • 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (90g) desiccated coconut
  • 130g butter
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a baking tray.
  2. Mix dry ingredient together (except the bicarb soda), melt butter, golden syrup and bicarb soda in the boiling water then add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Drop teaspoons onto greased baking tray and bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 13 minutes.
