Preheat oven to 190 Degrees C.
In a large bowl beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well.
In a medium bowl combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt then add to butter mixture one cup at a time. Stir in dried cranberries and then drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking trays. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire cake racks.
